Autoclenz Group passed their audit with flying colours, led by John Watson (SHEQ Manager) and Lisa Pipes (Compliance & Training Manager) in the first week of April, completing with 0 minor or major non-conformities.
Within the annual Integrated Management System (IMS) for ISO 9001 / 14001 accreditation audit from our external body, a field visit was required following the head office documentation audits. During the head office document checks, an opening interview was held with the Martin Ward (Managing Director of Autoclenz Group), for a business overview and discussion on any accreditation amendments, enhancing the leadership driven ethos of the standard.
We arranged to meet with the operational management team at a Sytner dealership, as this was requested prior to the audit from the external auditor, and on arrival at BMW Sheffield, the different aspects of the tasks undertaken were demonstrated; valeting, Imaging, de-ionising water tank for Eco Shine, Valet+ Repair - explanation from the Site Manager, checking on site personnel training records and documents.
Every aspect of each operation was interrogated, with conversations with the relevant operators, performing their particular task. The leadership driven ethos of the IMS was evident with the presence of the ROM and the HOB along with the employed site manager. The Sytner ethos of compliance was praised by the auditor, and even though the H&S was not being audited, he commented that our bespoke Health and Safety system was 90% + compliant with ISO 45001 accreditation.
There were 4 improvements identified overall, such as changes to the server room temperature, supplier performance monitoring, and some environmental aspects that don’t align with those in the register (you can find these detailed in the attached report), and only 3 observations – none of which were deemed to negatively impact the audit and exist to better improve Autoclenz Group.
Martin Ward added: “Thanks to John, Lisa and everyone involved in achieving another successful external audit. I think this has been the slickest to date in what has been an extremely busy month, so well done all”.
