Today is UK and European Anti-Slavery Day - an annual day to raise awareness of all forms of modern slavery and the need to eradicate them from our society.

Autoclenz is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities and one key step in this process is ensuring that all Management are equipped with the tools to recognise a potential incident of modern slavery and know how to deal with it. In July, Autoclenz Management attended Stronger Together workshops to develop their skills in identifying and handling suspected cases of #modernslavery within its business and within the automotive industry.

Autoclenz are taking action to understand all potential risks in relation to Modern Slavery and its business and to put in place steps that are aimed at ensuring that no slavery or human trafficking is present in its own business or that of its supply chains. What many businesses don’t realise is that they are liable for all people working on their premises (even the sub-contractors). Consider the reputational impact and ability to do business effectively and consider the moral responsibility against modern day slavery. What is the cost to your business of not being compliant?
